Chourbet Frik & Chicken

Chourbet Frik bel Dejaj is a variant of a very traditional soup Maghreb consumed in Algeria, Tunisia and Libya, prepared with Chicken.


Starter

Kafteji

various vegetables are fried separately with beaten egg and chopped up together.

Slata Mechouia

Grilled aubergine purée mixed with grilled tomatoes & peppers, and lemon juice  Contains garlic.   

Ojja Merguez

Tunisian Ojja is a spicy, garlicky, tomato and pepper sauce and eggs breakfast dish. It's often called shakshuka.


Main Course

Tajine Jelbana

Dash tomato with lamb, chili powder, pepper, olive oil, onion, green peppers, potato & peas.

Tajine Meatballs

Dash tomato with meatballs, chili powder, pepper, olive oil, onion, red peppers and cooked with white beans.

Tajine Zitoune Poulet

chicken legs, zucchini, eggplants, tomato paste, candied lemon, onions, salt, turmeric, cumin, ginger, cinnamon powder, pepper, fresh coriander.

Mloukhia

It is a beef stew that is cooked in a very rich sauce made from dried Jew's mallow powder with olive oil.

Couscous Royal

plate of fluffy couscous is lavished with lamb chops, chicken skewers, merguez sausage, and a saffron-scented.

Makroudh is prepared by filling a dough made with semolina using the Deglet Nour date variety. 

Makroudh Amande

Makroudh is prepared by filling a dough made with semolina and Almond.

Kaak Wareka

The paper cake is a kind of sweet that accompanied the Muslims of Andalusia during their expulsion, and landed with them in Tunisia four centuries ago.  It is considered a feature of the city of Zaghouan without other cities in Tunisia, and has health and nutritional benefits, as some say.


 The paper cakes are made from almond dough mixed with the perfume of Nisri, which is extracted from the flower of Nisri in the city of Zaghouan (60 km south of the capital, Tunis).
